Sanchez, 16, of Chula Vista, California, will go up against Phillip Phillips, 21, of Leesburg, Georgia.
They will sing three songs each:
(1) their favorite song during the competition
(2) song choice of "American Idol" producer Simon Fuller, and
(3) the song created for the winner.
Many of Sanchez's fans posted on Twitter and Facebook what they want to hear her sing.
Some mentioned songs by popular American singers like Beyonce but there were also those who wished to hear her sing Filipino songs.

she should sing, i will always love you or everybody has a dream.... again ....those were perfect songs that made a great impact to the people who watched American Idol sseason 11...she cannot sing and I am not telling you im not going...because she just sang it two weeks ago...might be too overloaded..hehehehe
ReplyDeletemaybe simon fuller will choose for jessica a song that might have an appeal to younger fans,like edge of glory by lady gaga or born this way...but he better choose songs of whitney or celine dion---to showcase full range of jessica's voice..something like i have nothing or its all coming back to me now..maybe better days or through the fire will also be considered...i am so excited for the finale..
