MANILA, Philippines – “American Idol” runner-up Jessica Sanchez debuted one of her songs which she said will be included in her upcoming album.
During the American Idol iHeartRadio show in New York City on Wednesday night (Thursday morning in Manila), Sanchez revealed that she has been working on her album with Interscope Records since the hit American reality show ended last May.
“I just want to announce and say that after the show I got signed with Interscope Records. I’ve been working on my album,” she said.
While she had said in the past that her album will contain songs with an urban vibe and some R&B, her newest song titled “Fairytale” was not close to what a lot expected since it was more of pop.
Sanchez, however, said she is hoping the people would still love it.
Sanchez said her debut album will be released sometime in October.
