Miami Heat star LeBron James injured the ring finger on his left hand on Monday during the Heat's loss to Indiana, and ESPN.com reported it might be dislocated.
It was not known as of Tuesday how serious the injury is, partly because the Heat did not practice on Tuesday. The team did not comment on James' injury.
The Miami Herald said James is considered questionable for Thursday's game against the Dallas Mavericks.
James, who is right-handed, played his regular minutes on Monday despite sustaining the injury in the first half. The finger was heavily taped, and he played 41 minutes and scored 24 points.
James is averaging 26.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.6 assists this season.
