It seems that the "battle" between the Jessica Sanchez and Phillip Phillips, the final two contestants in the reality singing competition "American Idol" will happen not only on stage but also on Twitterverse (or Twitter Universe).
The fans of the two contestants have been actively posting on Twitter why they think their favorite will be the next "American Idol."
The two-night finale will take place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California. The performance night will be on May 22 (Wednesday, Manila Time) while the announcement of the winner will be on May 23 (Thursday, Manila Time).
Sanchez, 16, of Chula Vista, California, will go up against Phillips, 21, of Leesburg, Georgia.
Phillips earlier refused to undergo a “desperately needed” surgery for kidney stones to be able to compete against Sanchez in the finale of "American Idol" Season 11.
Entertainment news site TMZ reported that Phillips' kidney problem have worsened in the past several months.
