MANILA, Philippines – The Philippines once again showed its prowess in an international cheerleading competition after an all-Filipina contigent won the crown in 2nd Southeast Asian Cheerleading Open in Singapore last Saturday.
Team Pilipinas All-Girls Elite, who won the inaugural championship last year, successfully defended their crown with a strong and fluid routine.
The members of Team Pilipinas All-Girls Elite were handpicked from several high school teams and trained by a team of coaches from various schools.
The Philippines also trained a strong team for the adult co-ed division, but they were unable to join the competition after missing their flight to Singapore.
