Power Foods for the Brain


A healthy mind is the key to a happier life. Keeping your mind happy with the right kind of food that can make it sharper,
 stronger and more efficient is a necessity. Eating power foods for the brain can help you keep diseases at bay.

1. Fish

If you are a non-vegetarian and love eating fish, you have some good news. Salmon, tuna and other fatty fish are considered to be rich in protein, calcium and omega-3 fatty acids, which are important for the brain and your nervous system. Eating fish aids the development of the brain.

2. Eggs

Just as fish, eggs are a great source of omega-3 fatty acids which facilitate the brain cell development process. Including this high-in-protein, low fat and Vitamin E rich food in your daily diet will prove to be an excellent decision.

3. Salad

Green leafy vegetables like lettuce, spinach and others like carrot, broccoli, and cabbage are an apt choice of food for your brain. These fibre-rich foods are rich in antioxidants like Vitamin C and E that protect the brain. You can also use these essential veggies to make yourself some hot and steaming soup.

4. Almonds

Studies have shown that blueberries prove to be excellent in enhancing learning capacity and memory.
